Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Customers Leaving in droves....Verizon hemorrhaging.... EWA workers overwhelmed.

70,000 installs in the cue. Customers can't even get through to cancel service. How much more can this last? It's just an all out A$$ whooping right now by the CWA/IBEW Unions. They are not going to let up now that they are absolutely destroying the company. This is pure madness and Verizon is getting it's head handed to them by the Unions.

@H538aNM-1xbb 8 million installs behind the 8 million troubles. EWA managers that can't even belt on to the pole to keep themselves in place, managers not using their 188s to test - assuming they even remember what that is. Being forced to change hotels every couple of days. Managers quitting Verizon rather than continue to be abused by the company and the union. This company is on the ropes, and the only ones who don't see it are the company trolls and their betters.

CWA & IBEW you are cracking their little lady balls, don't let go until they are on the ground.

8 million installs in the queue!!!! Half a billion triple play requests!!! 5 hour wait times!!! Verizon's getting hammered!!! Stay strong!!!!! Mobilize!!!! Brotherhood!!! Squirrels!

You guys need to wake up, honestly. VZ is doing just fine. No worries at all. The call center is operating like a well oiled machine to the point that we're giving the EWA's extra time off.

No strike will bring VZ down, especially the wireline side which should be sold pretty soon. VZs not going anywhere and is set to ride this thing out for years, if necessary.

Your local Salvation Army should have some extra necessities. Pay Day is coming soon!!

Definitely true about the backlog on new installs. Neighbor's daughter moved to Staten Island. Wanted fios but 2 week delay. Ordered time warner. Next day install. No one waits any more. I need it now rules the millennials.

Sounds like a letter to the FCC and PUC would not be a misplaced effort.

I know I have tried to cancel my Verizon service since we went on strike and I get through all the menu prompts only to get a recording on the line that states that we are busy right now please call back later and then it disconnects me. However, you can get right through when you press the option for new service. How convenient.
