Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

The only thing holding this company up is the wireless. Verizon will sell the wire line because of the greedy union. Where will they all be than?

Look at the amount of posts like this on here.

It seems clear the fools aren't the union folks.

Plus the company is not interested in being a phone company anymore. Lowmac thinks it should be an advertising company. Lets see how secure his job is after May 5th..

I dunno, Wireless must have done something right if they are #1 in a very competitive industry. It's even more impressive because they charge more than the other carriers and don't give away nearly as many freebies as TMO or Sprint.

For the record. After Killian was forced out and replaced with fran the man, one thing became clear throughout Coporate, Wireless finance types were not up to the quality of Corp or Wireline. Fact! That is what was behind shamwows push about CPAs. There people are not smart. They talk a lot of trash, but have nothing to back it up. Wireless rose because that was the new technology and the tech and engineering folks built a great service. Not Lowell. No Shamwow. Not Marnie. It did not matter who was CEO.

That said - the Ivan CEO did make a visionary investment in Fiber to the Home. Unfortunately the recent Wireless peeps have been pissing all over in in envy.
