Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Day 3 Highlights (through the eyes of a scab)

  • 30,000 union crossed the line today.

  • landline is dead.

  • VZ Wireless runs off of......well, it runs off of nothing, it's wireless.

  • we swallowed... I mean, we cleared all the loads

  • Hum got its first subscriber. Thank you Lowell for trying it out.

  • Go90 just hit 6,001 subscriptions. Thank you all H1-B's who recently took American jobs and Marne.

  • Only used 1,000 rolls of electrical tape to fix repairs today (down 200 rolls from yesterday.)

  • Only hung up on 10,000 calls today in order to clear the queue today (down 2,500 from yesterday.)

  • 100% of ladder hooks were turned in (same as yesterday because no ladders were used today.)

  • 1 Sell One More entry today (up 1 from yesterday)

Everyone have a great weekend! Ahhhhh $hit, I forgot, we have to work 7 days a week now like those union slobs. Please Lowell, send me back to my cubby.

@rqq, had you actually opened the post, you would have realized that the "structure" was correct. Believe me, just because I'm not a scab, doesn't mean I'm not better educated than 90% of Verizon.

Maybe you guys should also negotiate for Lowell to pay for more tuition so you can learn basic grammar and sentence structure. I'm sure not many of you would take advantage of this though since so many of you think that you deserve a pension and 6 figures for a job that requires a GED and a skillset that hasn't changed since 1999.

I have to admit that was funny. Hey keep it up guys. Maybe soon enough you will see that your not missed. Keep telling yourself what you need to hear about what you think is going on. If it's true, well not bad for people who have not done the job for the last 25 years and still suck at it. I guess things don't change with some people. I was hoping when you guys came back you would appreciate what you had. However I can see it now just broken down, tired and with any checks to look forward to. Just running their mouths on how the company was out to get them.

At least the migrant workers appreciate their jobs and abuse the system like some do.

I'm stuck here in this curry infested BR eating cold Domino's pizza with a bunch of people who have never used a stick of deodorant. Lowell had a wonderful dinner tonight at a fancy restaurant with his family......I'm eating Burger King in my motel room alone, while my family is a thousand miles away. Got go now, Got to be up early for my 7am shift while Lowell has a Great weekend with his family.

Ahh levity..thank you brother..I know that to,be a union person cause they have a sense of humor.the company shills are beat down and spout unions are obsolete,useless thugs and think Damn I was stupid to,devote my life to this company And i am treated worse then those thugs.
