Verizon should just rip the band-aid and move all the jobs to India, more people will move away from Verizon services and their stocks will take a plunge. Verizon employees are their customers as well, existing customers will not tolerate third world customer service regardless of how "Superior" the network is. A product is useless without good customer service. At the end the day its not the end of the world, plenty of opportunity outside of Verizon, put that education to use. If the government cared whether American jobs were being outsourced, they could easily ban it, but that will never happen. If there are no jobs available for American Citizens, no one will pay taxes or pay for services it's as simple as that. People need to remember these services are a luxury not a necessity, if more people either boycott or discontinue services, these companies as well as the economy will crumble.. Which is a good thing, stop feeding the snake that keeps biting your head off.

If an Indian wants to choose to opt for US citizenship he/she looses their Indian citizenship. India does not allow dual citizenship. Most of the Indians that are in US for about 10 years are actually US citizens and they lost their Indian citizenship.

@EIFlHmA-wkf makes an excellent point about the dual citizenship. This dual citizenship crap has got to end for immigrants to the US. If you want US citizenship, you should renounce your old one. Is that so unreasonable? If a war were to break out between the US and India, with whom would they side? Hell, for that matter, with whom would Verizon side?

Thank you, Buzz Killington, for that sobering analysis of what had been recognized by just about everybody else here as a statement having a basis in humorous intent rather than a real motivation.

  1. India does not allow dual or multi citizenship. You must renounce your American citizenship.

  2. Even after you get Indian citizenship, you are still treated like an American by US corp- Just the way Indian origin American citizens are grouped as Indians because of their looks.
