Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Central pa going union

More and more talks of unionizing in Central PA. Quotas are ridiculously high and management doesn't go to bat for reps anymore. If they don't have our backs anymore screw em

If we get closed down oh well, the writing has been on the walls for years. Ever since the strike in2016 traffic has declined. Indirects have been popping up at alarming rates. At least I'll get a severance at the end

I can't think of a faster way to make all corporate stores go indirect. Go for it. Watch what happens. In the past, Verizon closed and relocated entire call centers to avoid unionizing.

Union doesn’t help, but it will make your managers look really bad so why not?

@1tlo is correct. A union won't help you.

As someone with personal experience with this, I can tell you that the union didn't fix quota or change management. I know it s—s, but in my experience the union wasn't the answer.

I'm down. Management in my store is abysmal. The one good manager transfered to another store and our gm is a d–k anymore
