It's more bad news after more bad news after more bad news... And every one of the new incidents is paid for by reductions in employees... The stress seems to be never-ending... I wonder if there will ever come a time when I'm once again able to go to work relaxed... I'm not holding my breath, though.

It would be nice if people who don’t work at Wells Fargo would stop posting troll messages.
If your life is so awesome, and you don’t work at Wells, and can’t possibly understand the situation of many people who aren’t as rich or cool as you that work here for one reason or another, why are you here?
A colleague of mine was laid off while she was on disability undergoing chemo for bowel cancer. This was several years ago, when Wells was still flying high.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking they give a rip about you. Plan accordingly.
It is really unfortunate for the many who have done no wrong, yet are paying for the misdeeds of others. Our benefits are less and the atmosphere at work is thick with apprehension. 15 years with this company and the difference between then and now is massively negative. I truly feel that the times we once loved will never come back. I am off on long term disability and still am wondering if I will get the axe. I read people on disability can be ousted too. As I get 65% of my pay we still.have to pay out money back to WF for benefits so, it really is a.lot less to live on. I have no cushion and what I did have is gone.
Stop creating new accounts which customers didn’t request to pay for your underwater cars.
And take the advice about living within your means.
@12gJxtxq-4apu- correct. Instead of dying over this, go somewhere else. It's not exactly a lucrative deal. There are many gigs one can do that pay a lot better than working the branch, hell even in ops.
Work so hard for so little and such a crummy company-

Oh and no, I don't work for Wells anymore, nor was I client facing when I was there. I'm in IT- I choose to work in more difficult environments so I can party on...

The economy is at an all time low for unemployment. I wouldn’t worry about losing some low paying job here . You can make much higher in a company or that is doing better during that his boom.

If your car, eating habits and joyful partying lead you to participate in ripping people off which is part of what this thread is about, you are a huge part of the problem. People working at Wells Fargo are experiencing significant stress as an output of the sales scandal and clean up effort. If they had money put aside, they would feel much less stress. But by all means, party on dude.
I think this place would make a great reality tv show , probably be worth a lot of money
No need to make more when you already have enough to live comfortably for the rest of your life.
No need to work at all unless you want to.

I’m another one who took the bus instead of buying a car and learned to cook instead of eating out. Oh, and didn’t go out to the bar every night after work. When I got laid off from the criminal bank I was in a position to never work again if I choose not to and skipped out laughing.

We have reached the apex of stupidity in this country. It's now considered (by some) bragging to not spend money and instead save it for a rainy day.
To the person making the "hero" comment, you have missed the point like so many other people. The point isn't to be a hero, the point is to position yourself so that you never have to choose between putting food on the table and going along with wrong doing and ripping people off. By the way, not ripping people off isn't an act of heroism, its just basic ethics. Running into a burning building to save lives is heroic. The fact that anyone thinks its heroic to not rip people off is a very strong indicator of cultural rot.
There wouldn't have been a multi year scandal if fewer people had gone along with the program of ripping off customers. Millions of people got ripped off, but only a couple of people stood up to the wrong doing.
To the person bragging about saving money instead of spending it on shiny trinkets ...stop being so judgmental. Many people live from check to check and still have the guts to speak up. Those are the real heroes.
Remember Charlie is only an employee too and ceo lifecycle here is 2 years. So you can expect to see him gone then .
On another note as an employee the good old federal government, our friend, snags 45% tax from all his paychecks . Can’t forget about them! Thank you government!!

Your post sounds exactly like our team . It’s unfortunate and now there is extreme employee mental brutality.
There's a lot to be said for having a big savings account safety net. I spent years saving money while others splurged on expensive vacations, stupid expensive cars, and other shiny trinkets. Now, if I am laid off from WF, I don't care. Too many people depend on needing their very next paycheck and companies take advantage of this.
Being financially safe also means that I never hesitate to point out when a manager is doing something wrong or unethical. They can get me fired, I don't care. And there are PLENTY of unethical and wrong-doing managers still hanging around. It's much less stressful dealing with work and the stuff at WF when you don't care if they let you go.
Charlie will systematically start brining his cotire from visa and jp they like loyal soldiers start rejigging the teams and the levels and slowly start to remove the employees brutally. Please be aware that it will not be last this will be the start only where they will keep removing pppl so that employees get frustrated and they start leaving on thier own.. when that doesnt work as expected second round will start. This guy charlie only cares about his stock options and nothing else.. This is what we have seen about charlie... Guys everyone needs to be one and revolt aginst such mgmt folks otherwise they will keep b—s—ting everyone without any actual benifit to the company thats my 2 cents
I was thinking about coming here and posting this same thing just this morning, to see if it's a shared feeling.
There's a toxic feeling to working at WF now, and that's sad, because I used to like my job and my team.
I'm not alone, and while we're getting things done, others on my team have said they're not feeling good about the work anymore.
I expect to be fired, RIF'd, or just quit in the next few months, and I'm good with it.
