If that's the only way to hold AT&T leadership accountable for what they've done to this company, I say bring it on!

Randall is going to move to Elliot. That's the plan.
Cheering on Elliot really. They are not going to protect union members. You are dead weight to them. For all we know as employees is Elliot has already been paid by ATT to say thing like. ATT has too much overhead. They have to much of a bloated work force. Elliots benefits company way more then employees. Sure it’s good the world knows that Randle couldn’t captain a steam boat on crater lake. But unless you are living aboard and afraid to go to the market place for food because you might be recognized as an American the. I believe you know and understand ATT is mid managed from the top down.

I like the idea of selling off DirectTV
Thankfully you’re not a decision maker. DTV is still bringing in positive revenue to help pay down the debt. It also a product we can sell in rural areas with c-appy internet service.
Big Stank said today that DTV IS NOT FOR SALE! everything is going according to the plan, quote -unquote
I like the idea of selling off DirectTV, and I don't mean any ill will to all of those employees that have suffered as we came in and ruined their company. Nothing personal; it's just what we do. I think it was just a bad investment, spent way too much at the "linear peak" of the market. Acknowledge the mistake and walk away.
It is the customers and employees that have paid for the decisions executive management has made. It will be the customers and employees that will pay for the fight between executive management and Elliot. I see nothing to cheer about.
Where I agree with what was stated in the letter, I really hate the idea of AT&T being sectioned off and sold. AT&T was a good company and could be again, assuming it gets some great leadership. And Elliot has no plans to lead it ( nor should they try).
Honestly, I want the Elliott thing to go away. It will just be even more layoffs, contracting and downsizing. I agree with the union on this one. Enough is enough already.
Pretty much don’t care what Elliot wants. While they may want Randall and some of the other top executives gone, I highly doubt they are going to want to employ more full-time, permanent union positions either.
Not really. Don't expect things to be better for the workers under Elliot - these guys are vulture capitalists. They swoop in on failing, mismanaged companies and loot what is left of them. They're not here for the benefit of the employees or the customer.
These guys are even bigger scumbags than Stanky and the Rat. The only good thing about this is watching those two squirm over this. But life will not be getting better for the rest of us.
This is a dying company. The fact that vultures are getting ready to feast on it underscores that fact. The best solution for us workers is to move on to better opportunities.

"I believe this whole Elliot thing s orchestrated by Randall"
Did you read the letter? I am guessing no.
NOT A BELIEVER..............I believe this whole Elliot thing s orchestrated by Randall, He is Staging HIS escaping ACT for Decisions he will never Ever Made, IF you have good memory At the end of every year for the past 12 years... the consistently comes out with delay tactics for wall street to wait and HOPE, my mind naturally drifts to what did and didn't work this year, in an effort to double down on his OWN failures I can Attest that AT&T's CEO belongs to one of the most hated companies in USA.
Yes!
If it means a change in the top tier of leadership I say bring it on please.
Yes.
Yes and no, but mainly, why would I cheer on my getting 86'd? Do you cheer about the aspect of losing your job, or having an outsider screw up your livelihood?
In principle , I cheer them on, yes. However , as an employee I realize I’m MORE likely to lose my job under their proposed changes. Careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Elliot is looking to cut dead weight , and there’s a lot of it around here
