So there are most definitely more layoffs happening today in the US, but so far those affected (that I know) were informed of their WFRs during the end of June bloodbath. Not sure how many are just getting notice today.

@10wU4xFH-2siw best of luck, got bored of VR rejections, so just bit the bullet and handed in notice. Sorry state of affairs in DXC, looking forward to leaving next week.

Genuinely feel bad for the great people left, less so for some of the sh– ones that we're refusing to get rid of for some reason.

Not upset or fed up - Just quietly seething at the waiting
@ ML

  • I ain't leaving until you give me wfr.
  • I'm working to rule until you give me WFR

PS I'm not the only one who wants out with money

@1uvz The problem is, all the consultants I know want out of this rotting carcass of a company. Except those that are stuck. So I don't know what DXC wants to become; certainly not a consulting service.

This is NOT NEW's , RIFF's will happen forever or until standard Infrastructure, Storage and Backup are gone. Until DXC is only a consulting company , if it makes it that far that is. #ISeeDXC is the gutter

Cloud would be wonderful, if we knew how to deliver and support it properly - instead of just selling it as something that will save money (it definitely won't, incedentally).

I heard there will be some big layoffs on the major accounts including Zurich. More targets to their traditional bread and butter to support their irrational direction to target "Cloud" business. Circulate those resumes.

Another laughable "I've Got a Secret" post from a chronic malcontent. Amusing.

I suggest that you read this:

https://www.thelayoff.com/t/10xAbJyl

There you will see me pull apart some actual real statements from Mikey and you will see that inevitably in Q2 there will be layoffs - and I don't think that will be just "middle management" either.

And those layoffs will fall in exactly the same place as last time because those are "stranded costs" - ie people with salaries more than the equivalent skills in the three targeted cheap a$$ places they want to move them to.

By all means, ignore reality if that helps you sleep at night. Personally, I'd sooner have situational awareness to plan for the future of my family.

@10wU4xFH-1rdb so ignore it then, it could help someone decide they are actively looking for another job, you know to protect said dependants.

Not everyone is privy to open and honest comminucation from management.

Please think before you post. If you have information, but are unable to share - do not post inane drivel that we all know.

There are DXC people with dependant families that may read this board - I being one.

What region are the meetings in? As DXC never communicate anything it would be good to know.
