Want to know why ET goes through useless transformation after transformation and each time gets less productive? It's because SF is way too top heavy. There are too many useless managers at every level that have nothing to do except to plot their path to their next promotion, which they do by proposing that the wheel be reinvented for the umpteenth time.
And you know what? This transformation did not make ET less top heavy, because the consultant never tells the wallet that HE's the problem.
So this problem is not going to go away.
It's funny to hear people here talking about "embracing agile" when the rest of the industry has abandoned all of it except the Agile Manifesto. It's like showing up to the party after it's over.
