Been sitting with a roster of 80 members and very slow amount of new members coming in(1-2) a week. When we have to move the next group of legacy members (greater then 6 months), I will lose almost 25-30 More members when moving the legacy ones. My whole team is low and I am worried about the future.........

bveq- 54 years old here. All but one of the mandatorily moved CMs from FCMs to telephonic were forced to quit or terminated by April. All over 40. Prewarned "you are being set up to fail" by manager and the manager that said it was also termed.

I have not heard about any layoffs.
older workers are being picked off by AI designated parameters. How to cope with this AI thing?? I can only think not to participate. This goes for any kind of social media. do not participate and you will have liberty and freedom

Similar on my team, one minute employee there next minute an email that they are no longer with the company.

This is exactly what happened in LTIH. I easily had way more than expected members and over producer. Referrals fell off almost completely last fall. No more SNP members and referrals. Half of my case load moved to monitored case study. Then just like that myself and most of our team laid off. Now mind you I, I did see this coming and found a job before lay-off date. Still getting to keep my severance. But brace yourselves. A lay-off is coming. This is almost exactly the same time and process they used last year. I am happier now and actually got a pay increase. Quit holding on like this is the last job on earth. There are many more, but start looking now. Remember to take care of you first and foremost.

@10NKvSnI-5fxv This company is not run for you, me or the members. It's a traded stock and the investors want their money. You might not agree with this, but Humana is and always has been a company devoted to making money, the only thing which changes is how they do that. Get it clear. Humana is all about making money for the investors, Health Insurance is how they do it. How you're treated is all about cost. I have seen nice people and nasty people thrive here and I have seen good people walked out of the call center. Stop deluding yourself, it makes it easier to come to work.
Those of us who have been with the company for some time see the difference. It is in the way it is being run. Humana used to be HUMANE. The work ethic was good; they truly cared about their customers and their workers. I believe the current CEOs (some who came from financial institutions) are on an agenda. No.1 is "fill my pockets" and make money. 2. if not ENOUGH money cannot be made CUT it off. 3. People are replaceable. Younger new employees are cheaper. 4. Older people are coming into this game right now, the baby boomers and so that means more income. 5.. When its time, bail out and sell the company after comfortably setting oneself up for a nice cushy retirement. Tried to sell out to Anthem. Now in discussion with Walmart. WE see how that company loves to keep staff on board.
work at Humana is not ideal but I wouldn't go so far as to call it sick. Nor are these comments hideous. think about it, if you dont want to 'play the Humana compliance game' and you can't immediately transfer in to your dream job - the only option left is to be contrary. Don't think this will get anyone very far. smart money says, go along to get along.

10NKvSnI-2vhp. I see what you write and I don't think you understand that going to college and getting a BSN is one of the hardest bachelor degrees to get. People have to work extremely hard to get through nursing school and people do flunk out. So what you are getting is the cream of the crop who have survived a lot of hardships. Lots of the nurses have worked on the floor. We were hired because of our experience and expertise in handling clients on the phone. Yes, ongoing education does happen as it should with anyone. While you think that we are just work cows, I would love to hear what your position is and what your education level is. Tell us what makes you sign on in the morning.

This site is for Humana employee's to vent concerns as to the changes and or future of position with Humana. This site is not for others to make rude remarks and body shame an employee that is doing his or her job to best of ability and has concerns about the future of HAH telephonic future.

Big bad humana. Right? Well take a look at the other insures. AETNA, for one are doing layoffs. If you want security get your fat a– back into the hospital.
no don't quit - but know what you are up against. Play their game. Above all, do not be negative or question anything at Humana. Be two-faced, be on board with everything. Just don't bank on Humana. Have a contingency plan ready. Keep going for as long as you can. Be vigilant. When you notice your team members mysteriously disappearing or your boss targeting your work, you'll know its time to make a move.
Okay so are we supposed to quit and drop our health insurance and not be able to pay bills for our family? We all would like to have new jobs but sometimes not possible to get the same pay rate . Just have to keep going

My team rosters are low as well. I have the same concerns about how much lower my roster will get when I have to move legacy members. I am concerned as well. We were told there were thousands of members waiting for the program. New members are not answering, refusing, and Triage is moving same members back. Bad feeling in my stomach....
@10NKvSnI-uqs: I suspect that: a) you are Humana management b) a shareholder in Verint systems - or c) you are Verint or a Verint generated AI comment. ( I suspect that Verint monitors this site as part of its workforce management directive. It appears to be trying to pick me off for being out of compliance with its survival directive).

start looking for a new job asap. You are being controlled by a hidden, drastically flawed AI human management system called verint. It will continue to eliminate all those who are are non compliant with it - ie anyone with a real brain. that's what is really happening. The elimination process began when verint was first introduced in 2016. It is systematically picking people off............
