My coworker in Portland keeps telling me their job is safe because they’re too essential to be let go, while the rest of the team is in hubs or India. Uh huh…
Not sure why any business would ever operate in Portland anymore.
I was in the August culling and have been advised there will be several more, targeting further targeting remote workers.
I’m in Portland and I’m not going anywhere until I get my well deserved severance. I know it’ll only be a matter of time
In Portland they’re shoving the remaining office workers from the other buildings they closed into BC in Hillsboro until they’re also laid off. Wake up and realize the people in the know there have already jumped ship.
4000 displacements in Portland is pretty high.....unless the person that posted that count can provide more detail.
Isn’t Portland where the person filed anti-union charges against WFC and called the papers?

I was displaced in Portland on 8/8---Some of my local counterparts were cut before that and no doubt there is a plan in place for who is left along with other LOB's.

@@zii+1o7sQsPl - its not made up "inside knowledge" - i know for a fact a couple of teams getting the axe next tuesday and for a fact more are coming and will continue for a while.
Every other Tuesday notices go out, Sept 5 and Sept 19
