Big deal... with the parachute he got when he left, this fine is nothing.

@yrl+17UqPrD6 I'm guessing you're still here because you're illiterate and no one else will even entertain an interview with you.

Is there no end to being associated with these guys, its been like 4-5 years now. The gov't can nail these guys to a cross for all i care, just leave the innocent out of this.
For employees it like never ending torture, consent orders, threats of being let go, its like at what point is the gov't happy and had their fill of blood. They should go hunt down some tech monopolies and harvest. Shareholders have been burned royal as well. The stock price was higher 20 years ago.

When will execs ever go to prison? If you lie about issues material to share price, you are supposed to go to jail per SEC.

I'm sick of these pathetic fines. Execs have money to burn.

CT should take her lumps and slide back under her rock. She's a scourge on WF and Stump had a blind spot for his buddy, touting her malfeasance strategy, which cost us all dearly.

Lock them up!

  1. s. To any defenders or whiners, STOP blaming Elizabeth Warren and the govt. for WF's failures. The fault is solely the company's– no one made WF commit fraud.

Wells continues to do things that do not fully protect consumers even after lawsuits. Leadership turned a blind eye- who is the news reporter who wanted details?

SEC says they are using the fine money to make investors that were harmed whole. Still yet to see my cut.

google those names and OCC and you will see there is a lot more. SEC is just one agency.

There was a huge clawback by the company, and then OCC fines (JS paid 17MM I think, and banned for life) and now SEC fine.

CT had clawback and is fighting both OCC and SEC

Tolstead must be nuts to fight this. They'll just make an example of her and throw her in jail. Oh well - can't say she doesn't deserve it.
