is this really about getting us back in the office again? have there been any recent return to office notices for any groups?

The Lake Mary hub had their kickoff. I can’t believe I drove over an hour to attend. The leaders danced around most questions. The lady in the back of the crowd trying to get questions out of us was very annoying. THIS is a return to office indoctrination!!!!!
rpm is now back T/W/TH every week beginning 11/1, I am sitting in a virtually empty building for no reason
Indeed. Peer pressure.
“ Why else come in unless your boss is there to get face-time.”
Making the VPs show might make their directs want face time. If they show then their directs will come in for the same all the way down. Problem is even in the engagement hubs alot of the people there don’t work for that engagement leader in any way.
My engagement hub had a big kickoff fireside chat between Sam and the VP of the hub.
Later events so far have been:
Sit in a big conference room and watch an all hands meeting.
Donate x for y cause.
Volunteer walk.
Heard it was happening for some groups in vgs. I would say if you’re labeled as hybrid expect at least 3 days rto by the end of 2024. For those who are home based I would still keep an eye out. Plenty of companies are making fully remote employees comeback in sweeping rto policies.
Home based…5 days in my living room, backyard oasis, mall and restaurant.
Not a moment too soon!
I can confirm @ymu+1pncxl9F - my org (pt of VGS) goes back 2 days a week beginning Feb 2
Call it a slow migration of RTO (all dependent on work group). The only defined across-the-board rule is VP and above must RTO 3x week. Else, it's basically to give people a reason to voluntarily come in more then they do know. Why else come in unless your boss is there to get face-time.
What is an engagement hub? Any different than a call center?
for GTS - Dir and above, 3 days a week starting Nov 1. All bands below Dir - it will be hybrid as decided by that org (1-2 days , may be 3 days for some orgs)
