Bonus %

So what does everyone think the bonus modifier will be this year? Seems 2021 was a productive year…I’m hopeful for a 120% modifier. $$$

Since the corporate tax was lowered from 38% to a flat 21% most management employees got more than 100% of their bonus. In the past consecutive three years, IT received 120% of the bonus. Before the corporate tax, we were getting between 70%-80%. As far as I know the corporate tax hasn’t changed, therefore I expect the bonus to be high, at least 100%. In addition, since the corporate tax was lowered, most employees are eligible and are enrolled automatically into the stock together program which is another $2000 or more (depends on the band) a year.

STI modifier depends on your business unit. Based on the underperforming stock price and the 4Q 2021 earnings, I guess most business units modifier will be in the 80% - 85% range. Good luck.

Depends on your work group. Last year Business got just over 100%, but Consumer got about 85% (I think that's right, but don't remember the numbers exactly). The board will vote on it, and we usually know what was approved about 2 weeks before the checks are cut.

Definitely won't be 120% and may not even be 100%. Those days are over.

80-92% is the norm in good years.
