Hopefully, OSHA/FDA will allow proven therapeutics like Ivermectin that could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives as it did in Africa, India, and Central/South America. But then, the likes of Commie News Network called it "horse paste". The Truth is starting to see the light of day...

As HW stated in the letter about the executive order there will be an accommodation for weekly testing for those who are granted the religious exemption. Those accommodations must meet the criteria for Title VII against discrimination.
Companies use vaccine mandate to reduce workforce for Q4. Do not hold your breath. If test is good enough, but then why the mandate?
To be clear, it's not for companies with government contracts, it affects companies who hope to continue doing business with the government.
OP here: This was discussed in manager meeting at an aerospace company. Also stated :HR will work with the employee to get exemptions approved. Consultative process to be used with diversity group approving religious exemptions.HR will attempt to retain every employee post mandate. Stark and shocking difference compared to nasty email from a lawyer at HON

@yam, the OSHA recommendation was for those employees with an exemption, the EO provides two massive exemptions
@dht: OSHA doesn't have anything to do with the Biden executive order for companies with government contracts. It's already been made very clear there is no option for testing.
No this OSHA recommendation is for "exempt employees" i.e. those who choose a religious or medical exemption
There are two Biden mandates. The one Honeywell is currently complying with is the mandate for companies with government contracts that all employees to be fully vaccinated by the Dec 8 deadline. This mandate does not allow for weekly testing.
The other mandate is for all other companies without government contracts with over 100 employees to comply with an upcoming OSHA directive that requires vaccination OR weekly testing to be in compliance. It hasn't been released yet.
