A company dying a slow painful death of a thousand self-inflicted papercuts. The issue with the senior leadership at Verizon (don’t forget about Tami’s horrific tenure and Krista’s absolute rubbish leadership) is that none of their errors are so egregious they cause the downfall of the company right away. It takes time to die from a thousand paper cuts, and often no one realizes how much blood has been lost until it’s too late. Tami cuts the place a part and jumped off the ship she is responsible for partially sinking. Hans has done is before with Ericsson and he’s at it again with VZ.
