@4xpn+1lIhaeKR good ol' boys club is right. I have to laugh at people here calling Truist "woke". It is all BS from the marketing department. Upper management is a sausage party. Dante is a token who's been set up to fail. Meanwhile so many of the rank and file are women in pink collar he-l who were grossly underpaid until October but that's been eaten up by inflation.
I work in a partner organization to Wealth, and the only thing we can guess is that Joe T must have been put in his role for comedic relief.
He would make a fantastic character on The Office. The arrogant, entitled, empty stiff sent in from headquarters who can’t even tell his underlings good morning without reading prepared notes. Joe T is the absolute definition of the good ‘ol boy club in action.
Whatever 15 minutes of nothing that Wealth just got from Joe T. Anyone else feel like we learned more from the body language of everyone else in that room?
I’ve been at throw up stage over purpose, purposeful, purpose driven from Rogers for quite some time now. His only purpose seems to be ruining one good smaller bank after combining it with one mediocre small bank making a less than purposeful larger bank. Oh and what was the purpose behind turning out 2000 “Teammates” through a retirement buyout and hiring 2000 immediately to replace them. The purpose that served was ki-ling your institutional knowledge purposely. I suppose that was purpose driven!
