They just pile on more work, offer constant criticism, and make sure that stress levels are as high as possible until you can't take it anymore and leave. It's absolute chaos at the office now. What they're doing at this point is pure abuse with the goal of getting us to walk away. Truly shameful.

You can also add: piling work on the worker bees from project managers who have no concept of the time and effort required. That, and pile the work on one person who is doing the work of 2-3 people who have been let go.
Elon Musk effect
@xry+1tzd4h5R you almost sounded like someone who was human enough to care, until that last sentence.
Let's be real HR is not your friend, they're not here to help you at the best of companies. They're an extension of the legal dept. That goes double plus especially so here at fiserv. We get to hear about the anti-bullying policies, and anti retaliation policies every so often... then we get to see the rampant bullying by VPs and up.
Middle management is essentially powerless having more responsibility than an average employee, but no more authority in almost all cases.
If anyone takes anything to HR, it's an open secret that the perpetrator will be informed, and enough info will be given to them to identify the accuser, then bullying and harassment will be ramped up, but documented in such a way to protect them. Then the complaint will be dismissed as without merit, or written up as having had a talk to the perpetrator, before you're lined up for a PIP, and walked out the door in 6-9 months.
@xry+1tzd4h5R, as if middle management has any power at all at Fiserv. This abusive and anti-employee culture starts at the top, and was intentionally architected by leadership. They just want to push people to quit so they can lower costs and headcount without having to perform layoffs or pay severance. It's all about creating a short-term illusion of higher profitability to boost the stock price, with enough time for the execs to eject from this crashing plane with their golden parachute before it hits the ground. This is pretty standard executive behavior at poorly-run companies like Fiserv.
Wow. If you feel that way, you should definitely get EAP help. Also, what have you done to escalate your concerns to your manager. Have you sought any avenue for help? Or, do you just prefer to wallow in misery and be a victim?
