Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Associate Director has no company pride

My Assoc Director gets her new vehicle and immediately removes the company logos and instructs her engineers they can do the same. This is a violation of company fleet policy and a if anybody else did this, they would be written up or fired.

This has to be a troll, right? I mean, how d-mb do you have to be? It’s the same reason why most people don’t wear vz gear outside of work.

No need to rile up some ding do-g with the big red logo and become their personal concierge.

@xp

As a former VZW Net Ops field Engineer, I never had logos on my truck even when it arrived from the outfitter. Proir to VZ buying them out I worked at companies with logos on the doors and when you bought gas you attracted everything from people complaining about dropped calls to billing disputes.
Customers thought you were a mobile sales store. Occasionally even did phone troubleshooting in the gas pump isle for folks. So it was nice not to have truck logos.

It’s for safety, it’s a white magnet and is not against any policy
