First, they laid off many great people this year. Second, managers do not recognize talent, skills and competence of the individual team members. As a result, a lot of potential remains unrealized while people are being frustrated with the tasks they are given. Third, they take on inexperienced or ill-fitting people, probably because they still have no clue what and how they really want to achieve. Smart leadership knows their people and what they can do. Not so smart leadership just wastes talent and potential.

Gifted people in all corners of Nike have been neglected for years by ineffectual, insecure management.
Nike does not value good management/ leadership and therefore spends very little time or money on training and coaching people leaders, and does not consider it when making org. or promotion decisions.
It's ironic you would try to correct someone else's grammar, because it's "case in point," not "case and point"
Smarten up buttercup
MM and the HR leadership needs to go
Yeah it’s been like this for a while. I think it doesn’t address your specific issue necessarily, but eventually Nike will have less managers overall , which may make better managers actually managing people through an indirect process of elimination.
Side note, is @bcg+1vnW9V4P the same dude who is always bugging OP’s about grammar lol? This person has been stuck in a director level for 8 years and unhappily lives in West Slope so don’t take their aggression personally :)
