I was optimistic when Rich took over but the weak and shameless leadership continues. More people are going to get laid off. Where is the Board? It’s disgraceful. And he’s never going to get rid of Rasputia Favors and useless Schneider.

@1yy if i made $750,000.00 i'd wouldn't care either & like what elon musk asked a few yrs ago: named 5 things that you did today ? 5 things to improve hiring ? 5 things to improve benefits ? 5 things to increase severince packages ? 5 things to listen to your employees & implement their ideas ? 5 things to fire 1/2 of Capital Management ? 5 things to let Alvarez, Snider, Walker, & Kessler go and save $500,000.00. when is the next culture survey cu.mming out ?

I’ve heard that Favors visits this site and reads these posts. She probably doesn’t care what we think bc she’s getting a big fat paycheck, but she should see what an epic failure she’s been here. She’s here bc she can’t get a job anywhere else.

@107 much talk about low skill employees being replaced by high skilled indian nationals+The reason why there is a perception about low skill is HR, the Recruiters, & hiring managers have the absolutely lowest skills to determine who the best candidate to hire is+This & pis-s poor training & lax oversight+They should have provided IQ tests+personality tests & dr-g screens during the hiring process. Time to dump the C-Suite & put them out to pasture.

Ninth Circuit Ruling Upholds Employee Speech Amid Stalled NLRB

Like it or not, social media has become the backdrop of almost everything we do. It’s how many people read the news, interact with friends and family, and vent after a long workday.

For employers, employee social media posts are more than background noise, but rather a live microphone pointed at the workplace, blurring the line between personal expression and conversations that may have an unintended impact on the work environment.

When an employee’s social media post sparks concern, employers may find themselves asking — how far can an employer go with respect to setting rules to protect the business without stepping on employees’ rights?

The National Labor Relations Act’s Interplay With Employer Social Media Policies

Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act protects employees’ concerted activity, whether they belong to a union or not. Under the statute, employees have the right to engage in “concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection.”

Section 8(a)(1) makes it an unfair labor practice for an employer to “interfere with, restrain, or coerce employees in the exercise of the rights guaranteed in Section 7.”

Co-worker discussions about pay, hours, staffing or safety are textbook examples of protected concerted activity under the NLRA. Moving those discussions to social media does not alter the protected status of this activity.

On Oct. 28, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a significant decision in National Labor Relations Board v. North Mountain Foothills Apartments, discussed more below, that underscores the ongoing significance of NLRA protections for employee speech, even as employers struggle with regulatory uncertainty.

word to The Layoff & Mutual of America: Back off. Free speech is protected.

@18c the National Labor Relations Act legally permits employees to speak about their employers and C-Suite Level Executives and discuss work, pay, working conditions, treatment, waste, fraud, abuse, wrongdoing, whistleblowing. It’s the Law & the Layoff & the C-Suite at the company attempting suppress freedom of protected speech.

@18k who can blame him. They would probably clean his house for 50% less pay then his current maid is being paid.

@xh Intel is showing that Rich is MIA as he currently is extremely busy trying to explore opportunities how to replace his own family with Indians.

@e4 A lot of comments being removed. Notice how comments criticizing and making fun of current employees that are getting laid off are not being removed but comments critiquing the CEO, Executives, Board and Accenture are being removed. Almost like the CEO and Boogymen are checking this site after all.

@xh spot on $$$ We remember his first speech - Saying he was going to be fully transparent > More accessible -To his credit, he said all the right things in the beginning but we haven’t seen him publish: Board Minutes.• C-Suite Comp. Board Pay. Special Perks + Committee minutes. Not even the strategic 5 yr plan to share with employees \ Plus, the last year with the surprise announcement about ACN really deleted any credibility he had about transparency. He inherited an absolute mess / Just like obama did after 9/11, gulf war, wall street collapse & financial meltdown.

Greed for the lack of a better term is good. Greed is right. Greed works

@nq correct. The further away you get from the locus of control & 320 Park Ave Epicenter, there will be more waste, fraud, abuse, errors, delays. When organizations are in crisis, you want to get firm control & address problems with strong leaders. Agile leaders. People leaders. Listen to your front line employees. They know what needs to be fixed. You ask them to a person and India is not & will never be the solution. It is a pie in the sky sales pitch from Accenture which will not pan out in the long run.

Stephen Rich has been nearly invisible lately. Him and Meddy are laying low & for good reason. They are hated. In about 12-18 months, they will need to retire & resign & take a bunch of overpaid inept EVPs with them.

@OP

Take a look at this. Below is a post on the TIAA Board about Accenture aka ACN aka Arthur Anderson (remember Enron ?!?!) aka A~S~S~Enture. TIAA’s has been snake bit. ACN + FIS = FIANCÉS — a match made in he-lll.

Ever since we moved to Accenture, I have noticed that the workloads for the employees left at TIAA have increased not decreased. Shipping all these recordkeeping jobs off shore has not lightened workloads. In fact, there seem to be more errors, delays, less efficiency, and the business knowledge is not there.
