Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Layoffs to resume in February

Usually the Tuesday after payday. However, I'm in HR and was let go this morning. While the decision was made before the holidays, they hung on to me to pick up the work load of all the folks on PTO, but hey at least they didn't make me work a full day today (friday) the last 6 months of walking on eggshells has been he-l. So if you too are walking on shells, your turn will come. Get out now!!!

Don't need to wait until Feb. There were layoffs today

Tuesday after payday, like clockwork.

If you’ve been with WF for a good length of time, I wouldn’t quit now. Don’t let them off the hook, stay for your severance. I’m sure it’ll come soon enough especially in you’re in OR. Could be anytime now.

The layoffs will never stop so long as Shart is with the company. Is it every single day that someone gets a notice? No, of course not, but they are either giving notice, planning layoffs, or working on processing the next batch of layoffs constantly. It's all Hudson Yards knows how to do. Plan accordingly, and make those SOBs pay severance for destroying the company. They can do what they want, but they can't do it for free. Cool billion dollars up for grabs, get yours.

FYI - The layoffs are resuming in January unlike in previous years when they did not start back up until February. OP - I am sorry to hear this and I hope you land an even better role soon.

Outside market is good and plan to move on. I worked for the company for more than 2 decades and could not take the stress of layoff. Moved on.. and now stress free. I love the new company. I do still like Wells as a company but the leadership took U turn and taking care of employees is least priority. From top most mortgage company and now struggling to survive shows how leadership is.

Hey OP - any news about Oregon? We've had displacements trickle through, the largest one being all of ECMO (300+) last year. There's not a lot of us left in Hillsboro, Portland, Salem.

Resume in Feb? I’ve really been getting the vibe that I might be gone next Tuesday. (Not in HR)

The layoffs never stopped, nor will they as long as Shart is here.
