Two let go in my team, a g-y woman and hetro man, so I guess it's equality at least with my department's layoffs.

I’m actually afraid because even though in reality I’m a bonafide minority on my tech team (white cis-male)… I would assume I’m “un-diverse” in an arbitrary mandate and would be selected.

Also, if you file for some sort of FMLA, you are guaranteed to not get laid off as your management will become terrified of you.

If you want to better your odds of not being laid off, go to workday and update your race and s-x to the flavor of the day. Hopefully this insanity will pass.
