Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

SHAREHOLDER VOTING - DO IT NOW!

I know this was also the topic of a prior post, but it's worth repeating today, since the email on voting hit the Wells Fargo email addresses today.

Voted my almost 3,000 shares today - all Against the board and Chuckie, and For all the shareholder proposals. Basically, voted contrary to all their recommendations, with the exception of the appointment of KPMG, since I have no beef with them.

It's a small number of shares, but they all add up in the end. If you have shares, VOTE!

Employee owned shares are a miniscule % of total outstanding shares. Every one of us could vote to have the board replaced and it wouldn't work if the institutional holders voted to retain. The best way to make a meaningful change in your life for the better is to never hold any shares of this underperforming s*** stock to begin with. Rebalance out of it the day they put them in your account.

I wasn’t able to access the site yesterday, but could this morning, so my guess would be that there is a lot of traffic to the site.

It’s eye-opening to look at everything the board is against. They are against all of the shareholder recommendations, which includes:
A diversity audit report
Racial and gender board diversity report
Charitable donations disclosure
Climate change policy
Report on respecting indigenous people’s rights
Report on incentive-based compensation and risks of material losses
Policy for management pay clawback authorization

They were for things like a long-term incentive plan, and of course executive pay compensation, and all their board member recommendations.

The entire WF organization has become extremely antagonistic towards any level of transparency. Leadership here are comically over the top evil almost like some sort of Austin Powers villains. If they allow any level of transparency team members will start to realize that their coworkers are almost all just as disgusted by the people in charge as they are. Why do you think this forum is so much more active then other big bank’s layoff forums? This is the only place to find other TMs to discuss what’s happening openly.
Remember when Teamworks News had a comments section?

@sjo+1fSwkJQI

I was amazed by that also! Everyone should at least go LOOK at the Board recommendations.

Boy, the board sure doesn't seem to like transparency, based on everything they've recommended against.

@wok - OP here. I’m not being contrary just to be contrary. I’m not voting with their recommendations because I am adamantly opposed to everything this so-called leadership team and Board are doing to this company. The stock is in the sh!tter compared to the price when I acquired it, and they are making decisions that are contrary to the good of the company, it’s employees, and the greater good.

You vote your conscience, I’ll vote mine.

Thanks OP for the advice but I'll be voting pretty much the opposite from you. Guess I don't see things with the same jaundiced eye you do. Being contrary for the sake of being contrary is not what I'd describe as a strategy.

Is there a reason we can't access the site via the company internet?

Bites my measly 766 shares in the same manner.

Pro Tip: Vote “For” what the board recommends you vote against, and vote “Against” what they recommend you vote for. 🤷🏻

@OP+1fSwkJQI I voted same as you!
Not surprised the board recommended "against" all the shareholder proposals!
