There's no chance for anyone to grow their career or get any recognition around here. The bosses are just going through the motions with their leadership style like they don't even care - and they probably don't. It's such a letdown for all of us who are eager to succeed and make something of ourselves. Honestly, it's just really uninspiring and disappointing.

We need more social justice, ESG yadda yadda. Blackstone guys can not be wrong.
MCI Worldcom which became Verizon Business was another company we paid a premium for, then realized it was oversold. The only good to come out of that transaction was MCis internet assets.
The company went down hill as soon as they removed the name MCI from the front door.

@j-z+1lXFtIJK I agree with you 1000%. WFH for ever
@wjm+1lXFtIJK LOL How will RTO change anything? Being in the call center was a joke. People treating it as a place to hang out instead of a business. Leadership riding a big wheel around. BIG JOKE. People using crock pots at their desks, people stealing from other peoples desks, people bringing cockroaches frim their homes into the building. 🤢 Distractions everywhere. Loud obnoxious people that only had a HS diploma or GED. RTO? No thank you. I pass, I decline. Thank you, Jesus.
RTO, is the only way this company can thrive again.
For many you are 100% on your own and I’d say 75% going against your manager if you want to improve or pursue anything that interests you at work.
Unless you are in a pipeline with mentoring and other support from ERGs you are on your own. Managers just want you to do what they don’t want and keep them out of trouble.
Nobody is going to be responsible for your career but you. If you are this unhappy find an external opportunity. Verizon is only going to get worse - there is no silver lining here. Leaders don’t care. Advance your skills while you are here while searching for a new role. Best of luck.
