@w6 You've got that right. Lot of people here d-mb as bricks. Never learned to match the triangle block with the triangle hole as a kid but we will still hire them at Fiserv because nobody else will join.
It amazes me that a company this size is run so poorly. It irks me when one of the leads goes on about what we need to do to recruit and retain talent but won't say anything about the obvious culture crisis. Don't stand in front of us talking d-mb sh-t about how we're all in sales and need to give more when you're literally giving us less and treating us like children. It's tone deaf and insulting.
@dp+1jvtdg4gs They hire people and everyone seems nice until you work with them and start questioning how god put you here... expected to deliver ragu when almost half of coworkers at Fiserv are hired and so unqualified and unmotivated that they are a net negative for the whole team. It can be said for any office around the world. A great recipe for success. FISERV PROUD.
Lot of us who joined are just waiting to leave. It is not possible to grow in a career when you work with baked and burnt out potatoes who can't do simple things anymore every day.
Lol it's because they can't hire anyone. As soon as they say it's 5 days on site, candidates drop like flies. They're offering the bonus because they know they'll pay very few of them while making it LOOK like theyre trying so hard. They're not. They know why they can't hire, but your a-s in a seat in a cr-p building is more important than retaining or attracting talent.
Imagine no top talent want to come here so that are paying us bonuses to recruit. not happening! Why would I do that ?? I don't want to work for gibbons and you want me to bring my friend. ha ha ha ha ha

it’s awful that they treat current employees so poorly and are happy to lay them off every quarter while offering referral. bonus for new lambs to be sla-ghtered.
Also they lie about the benefits they offer new employees.
If we all just leave they will be a little stuck.
it’s already happening. The SVPs who get massive bonus based on cuts are already asking their teams what they have to do to hire good people.
The answer is don’t be so driven by quarter to quarter numbers that you fire everyone then think you can dangle a $3000 carrot to get people in for the short term
yes your SVPs are now paying recruiting bonus to hire bodies because they can’t get enough things done to get their quarterly bonus
