So we have a meeting telling us that the ROI on our work just isn’t beneficial to Humana and there will be layoffs BUT they have to wait for the study to be done at the the end of February. Really??? What is that?!?! Now the whole department has to act and work like everything is fine with that hanging over our heads. Please…..

Humans always lay-off. They been about the bottom line. Stop supporting this cr-p of a company.. The recruiters and Human Resources are also part of the problem. They are dishonest and lack integrity. Humana needs to sink like the Titanic.

@vyy+1qDnGedu you are absolutely right. But we have known for YEARS that there’s a low to no ROI for CM programs and only have to do the bare minimum for Non SNP members to be in compliance with Medicare. These execs are only concerned with their compensation and getting ahead
You all should have been looking for jobs, instead of doing CEUs when you ran out of calls at 10am. The writing was on the wall then.
Everyday is already a struggle! This is so hard assuming the worst. I agree, it needs to just happen already
There will be people in your department who will opt to leave vs. Waiting to find out if they will be laid off. This reduces amount of severance Humana has to pay. Openly advising there will be lay offs after a "study" encourages people to leave before laid off. For those who remain, leaders will do a PITA during the time frame. The month also provides time to coordinate processes involved in lay offs
