God knows how it will all play out, not only for our company. And let's face it, it won't make any difference for us lowly folks either way. The axe never stops swinging, and nobody will value your hard work or the risks you take anyway.

nobody can compete militarily with the US and china. and china sold venezuela towers of anti stealth gear that did nothing that night. stop worrying. any other country is all talk no capability.

It's really flipping the world on it's ear and I'm sincerely in fear we're on the cusp of another war because of what's going on with the US Government. Venezuela has been a failed state run by thugs and gangs for years. Unsafe. This is. It new. Why do you think the best and brightest from Venezuela have already left for the US? Many engineers at Exxon from Venezuela in the US. A lot of them.

There's a growing dissent in Venezuela and it will become as dangerous as Iraq in the early 2000's. I wouldn't be surprised if Chevron pulled out of there for a while. It's a very unstable place and will be for some time.
