Thread regarding SS&C Technologies layoffs

Info on layoffs

Hi,

If you have any information on this latest round of layoffs at SS&C, please reach out to me today or early next week. Specifically, I'm interested in around how many were laid off, what divisions, and any other context you might have.

We can chat completely off record, meaning nothing you say would be published at all, or we can chat anonymously on record, meaning your name would not be included ("according to a source familiar with the matter" and the like) but we would be able to include what you tell us in the story. Of course, we can also chat on the record. I have a perfect track record of protecting my sources.

david.isenberg@ft.com or 2125421264.

Thank you,
David

Just had another round of Layoffs and I guess they did away with severance pay so after decades of work you now get nothing.. most were only hanging on for a big check.

@vtp+1oJPFoGl I will speak anonymously about this company and its toxic culture. What is your email?

To be clear, we need to speak to people directly, not on this site, to be able to confirm identities and information, even if that information isn't printed. If you have been laid off by SS&C this year, or have information about it, please do reach out directly to me, david.isenberg@ft.com, and/or my colleague sonya.swink@ft.com.

I was let go in early June 2023. I wasnt the only one (half my team was let go). This is SS&C's third wave of layoffs this year. They are doing them in waves to avoid having to issue WARN notices.

So media relations can blow smoke up his @ss like they do to their employees?

Rather than asking disgruntled former employees/current employees who are unscrupulous enough to leak internal info, please send requests for comments to mediarelations@sscinc.com.

We have covered the other layoffs this year in May/June and some of the AI-related announcements last year and early this year, but I am open to hearing more about them as well.

I have been trying to track down more information (how many, what departments) on this round of layoffs since 9/13. This story deserves to be told, but it will require people to perform their civic duty and speak to the press.

Would you be able to call me? I have a perfect track record of protecting my sources. It is not a violation of an NDA to state its existence.
