Bonus for the displaced??

I understand that you're eligible if received the notice after 9/30. But does that mean you're actually getting one? My old manager has stopped responding to my emails since November.

@OP, first, I want to say that having recently been laid off, I know how hard it is to plan for the future and how helpful a bonus is, especially if you have limited time left on your severance. I did some digging and found a little information that may be helpful to you.

  1. I was informed that WF will send a comp letter on 1/31/24 outlining your bonus amount (if a bonus is applicable to you). * Note - that 1/31/24 is the same date that you can view your paystub*
  2. I was also informed that you can email - compensationdelivery@wellsfargo.com - to get more information, but I suspect that they will tell you the same information in #1.
  3. I was informed that this is the first year that managers do not have access to the bonus information for displaced employees, so asking your old manager would be fruitless.

I hope this information was helpful and wish you the best of luck!

"Maybe just wait until 2/2? Your manager has moved on and has better things to do."

You lack emotional intelligence.

Your old manager is not allowed to communicate the bonus to you.

Your manager is not allowed to speak to you after you are laid off, it is part of the documentation they received when they are trained how to layoff staff.

I've been layed off in mid October before (BofA) - I received a bonus of about 1/3rd of what I usually received. BofA are cheap Ba$tards - so I just figured it was some HR/ Legal move. Hopefully ur in the same boat and get a little bit...
