Wrong, two managers that are friends of mine just got let go from EDT in Tech. It was done as gracefully as something like that can be, and access ends tonight for them.
Where are all the RIP your career 11/17 posts from all the people that just like to speculate?
MY TEAM WAS TOLD LAST THURSDAY THAT LAYOFFS WERE POSTPONED UNTIL Q1! LEADERSHIP HAS BEEN COMMUNICATING THIS FOR MONTHS! DURING OUR LAST ALL TEAM CALL WE WERE TOLD November and now being told Q1. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT WE HAVE TO BE SITTING DUCKS, ANXIETY, STRESS ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER MADNESS HAPPENING FOR WF TO KEEP STRINGING US ALONG.
Hey Chuck, if you're gonna layoff thousands of employees before the holidays and create an enormous amount of bad reputational damage, go ahead and do it already. These are the most uncertain times I've ever lived in and I don't need my employment status and my family's welfare hanging over my head every damn day. Just rip off the band-aid off already you worthless prick.
I was let go last week. They decimated my business unit. Not sure about my org as a whole because Wells only lists me on the notice. They claim this was a 'no selection ' process and thus they do not have to disclose.
So they displaced ET directors before 11/17. That is interesting. I guess they had to know since they have to deliver the message to subordinates.

Three senior directors down in Enterprise Testing today. One is ”retiring” the other two no longer have a role and will be replaced.
I just heard from someone three down from CS that there will be layoffs every month from here on out.
