The original intent was obvious, but for those that need it spelled out, let me rephrase, "irrelevant to THIS discussion". Obviously there would be ramifications for adding states. That doesn't change the fact that federal law spans state lines. That's actually the definition of it...and yet some people here think that WF is moving positions out of VA to run across state lines and to avoid the G-men in hot pursuit. It's laughable on it's face.
Whether DC becomes a state or not is irrelevant. Feel free to post links to all the federal laws / banking regs that are thwarted by state lines. We'll wait.

At least AMazon moving both HQ to Virginia, not like Wells had that many workers it employ there anyways; good thing Federal is on a major hiring spree and Capital one and others have been strong all thru the pandemic in VA too
