They’re not going to outsource supervision- the folks in India need their hands held waay too much. I had to train a group of them several years ago and we had to give them basically remedial English to even comprehend what the series 7 was about..they’re super nice, but seem to struggle with jobs that require a lot of independent analysis. Unless things have gotten better??
There will be greater reliance on outsourcing to egs phillipines. The people there are licensed for a good part with 7;63;24; and have supervision from Missouri. Can cut out high paid person doing control or operation position. Lot of competitors already do this. No inside knowledge and basing opinion on studied observation.
Lions and tigers and bears, OH, MY!
The new Chief Compliance Officer will clean house. They will get rid of the useless Deputy Compliance Officer (aka BACO) that Roemer selected when he went out on leave in February 2020. She is part of the old regime and there were/are numerous outstanding compliance issues when she was head of WIM Compliance. Time to get the gong show hook out and clean the deck. It was no surprise as to why she wasn’t selected as the interim Chief Compliance Officer. Bye-bye N.S.
@tyf I feel your pain! Although, these days they want a response within hours. Otherwise, we get pinged to death. Stop, drop and roll. Everybody’s hair is on fire!
It’s going to be outsourced
On August 25th I’ll probably get 50 more emails from CS&O about things I need to drop everything to turn around in 3 days on top of my actual work. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll also get a package.
