I left a year and half ago because i saw the writing on the wall that fiserv will be run by a dictator. Since leaving, life out of fiserv (the best place to work…at least in poor leaderships mind) has been great. Why do folks still stay at that miserable place….few seem happy there. Grow some brass ones and leave.

Next thing you know we'll all be smoking cigarettes at our desks and talking to women like we are all in the 1940's the way this place is going.
Are you sure you're not limiting yourself? Many employers do virtual interviews so they'd never know about a cane or walker. Rather than ruling yourself out before you try, try first and see what happens.
You really think we wanna hear that? SMH.
I would love to leave. However, being recently disabled doesn't make that possible. Imagine going to a job interview with a walker or cane. Not a great first impression. As much as morale is horrible and the job getting worse. What other choice is there
So in two years a large number of experienced employees will retire because that is their plan.
And in two years a large number of new employees will move on because they will have two years of resume experience and will want to leverage that for compensation.
What could possibly go wrong?
I left recently and I can tell you the weight I feel lifted off my shoulders is immense. My day to day was not horrible, though attrition was certainly making it worse. 33% of my group had left in the last two months and not a single role had even been posted for backfilling.
Even though my day to day wasn't terrible, being remote was like a constant black cloud over my head, not knowing if I'd be RIF'ed. Even as a SME. And just watching the company backslide embracing policies that the 1980's don't even want back is just brutal. I hated working at a place where I was embarrassed to be a part of.
My advice to those who want out but feel stuck, seek out a resume service to polish yours up, maybe even find a career coach, and take the first steps toward getting out. I know many people felt beat down and defeated and just keep trudging along. It's like Stockholm Syndrome honestly. Get out, make more money, and be happy!
Even though I am not happy here (been here pre-checkfree), I am too close to retirement (1-2 years) to go elsewhere. Just doing my job as best as possible with all the roadblocks and grinding it out. Moving downtown, if and WHEN that happens, will prob expedite my retirement plans!
