Lol assuming this true which I believe it is. Its about to be an absolute sh-t show for Care, corporate retail and Pact. If they keep indirects without IAMS customers are going to get scammed hardddddddd.

Look at it this way. How many businesses do you walk into and are offered a price/promo only to not walk out with that promo. The failure rate in indirect is high. Missing trades. Missing switcher. Missing DPs. IAMs deal (or at least they did) with the call centers now and it is not easy. They held them accountable with appearance, RIS. and pushed metrics they could care less about. VZ just opened the gates of he-l on their customers. I work in retail, we get some of the overflow. We will get crushed with their customers. If the goal was to retain customers this is an odd choice. Before the.. but Tmo doesn't have IAMs. Tmo doesn't use our systems/practices.

Agreed. Agents misquote promos and IAMS have to fix or make agent accountable, and since exchanges haven’t worked in what feels like 2 years EVERY customer is being charged either 2 upgrade fees or an activation and upgrade fee if they change their mind on phones. IAMS have to credit those. Their stores look like bo--s went off and disgusting if IAMS weren’t in there pushing minimum standards. IAMS hold them accountable if they lied to customer and make them responsible for credits. They call Pact and unfortunately are told the wrong thing over and over again so IAMS are the ones telling them…cal again and put your IAM on the other line so we can tell them they are wrong. Do you know how many issues IAMS submit that get rejected and need a 2nd or 3rd review bc the third party vendor doesn’t know how to do basic research. I would NEVER purchase a phone from an indirect store EVER if their wasn’t an IAM there to pick up the pieces when it gets fu---d up... Their job is so complicated. That’s just a snipit. And don’t even get started on the One Talk Fraud happening across the country in Victra and other agents. Absolutely no one is going to do anything about. Vzw Leadership is aware and won’t stop it, so yeah your VBG indirect channel is not producing…it’s a fake number. It’s a joke. They are also paying agents a ridiculous amount of money to do Aols and sell business. Verizon loses money when this happens. My question is who in VBG is giving favors to the big Sweed?

I keep seeing Indirects being mentioned here. As someone that deals with Indirect stores and IAMs daily I would sm--k the person that makes that decision. Indirect stores are straight garbage to begin with and if they take away their IAMs its going to get worse. So unless the strategy is to move away from indirects then this would be mo--nic. Then again this C suite does the opposite of any good decision so I would not be surprised. If they are riffing IAMs hopefully they RIF my a-s too because my team is going to end up holding the bag on supporting indirects.

And btw people that are impacted also get invited to huge calls if it’s a massive layoff of an entire department. Or they might get individual conf call invites with
manager. Stop giving out wrong info.

Lol so it’s pretty typical (my dept has been through 5 RIFS) to get an invite the evening before or morning of from your supervisor. So you saying that’s not how it works is id--tic.
Do we even have offices left to call people in to ?

@rrb that is incorrect. He’s not talking about the impacted people. He’s talking about a call for leaders who have to deliver the news. Those people leaders are informed beforehand. I assume that’s the call he’s referring to

That's not how it works. There is no call that goes out before, you are just called up or brought into an office. If your lucky a call will get put on right before.

I can tell you there was a call company wide at noon. Leadership won’t say anything. Normally someone will say…. ”you have nothing to worry about”, if our team/group isn’t impacted. I’m not getting that feedback this time around, which is very concerning. I’m pretty sure Indirect is impacted tomorrow. Sorry.
