Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Real talk with Rick

Our HRAVP leaders tell us we need to start coming in 5 days and work our full 8 hours in addition to doing 4 store visits a month because we were the worst team on the presence report. Only then to be told by our VP that we can have a flexible schedule and not have to work a full day. Can we just be on the same page of from our leadership and get on the same message. Oh and can we not spend the time complaining about no TP in the bathrooms and the high lunch prices at Dallas.

The original poster must be an id--t and wanting attention. From the post we know exactly who the HRVP and AVP they are talking about and they are, in most opinions from business clients and internal HR, the very best HR leaders AT&T has today. Most including me would love to get on their teams. They are fighting to have reasonable flexibility even when the interim CHRO is with Stankey sinking the company . You probably were one of the LOSER coffee badgers that ruined it for everyone and sounds like you got called out on it by your AVP based on presence reports. So yeah maybe you do need less flexibility.

Coming from a close aide working in HR - they are being told what to do but the senior leaders. HR is writing policies that they are being asked to do so by their senior leaders. They are not happy about this whole no flexibility RTO.

lol, HR is a scam. Provides no value. Dictates interview scripts but doesn't have a clue how to interview. Doesn't give a single recommendation on anything or anyone but will tell you what you should do. what a joke. HR should have been the first team in the office 5 days per week, not the last.
