Lol I've been recording audio and video of the wrongdoings in my club for at least 4 months... so much crooked stuff going on daily.. I hope they do fire me! I've brought a lot of this stuff to the attention of the club manager and it's been ignored or covered up.... game on

A: In some states it is NOT completely illegal to record someone without their consent. In fact, in my state only 1 person needs to know & acknowledge the fact that something/one is being recorded.
B: Good for you! We just had one of our most worthless managers get walked out of the building the other day. This * was absolutely beyond pathetic. Would hide in the office with the security cameras and sleep, sit around and have people from other departments go print their paperwork, or go get them food, or many other things. This person has been with the company for 20+ years and should have been gone YEARS ago but they were buddy buddy with higher ups who aren’t here anymore. Do what you have to protect yourself because that person fired people for stuff they shouldn’t have been fired for but no one had anything on them.
ive recorded s-xism, theft, several instances of blatant racism, favoritism on many accounts
some associates being lazy as hell sitting around while others work their butts off for LESS money and managers knowing damn well whats going on and doing nothing about it.
so much more i could list! i could care less if they let me go for doing what im doing at least SOMEONE is doing something about it

When you CM does most of the wrong things it’s hard to take them any info. Last time I checked CM were not allowed to have extra activities with associates but at least it’s an asst. MGR and not an hourly. Well not an hourly anymore. And who says it don’t pay play and get that promotion.
If your state is a 2 party consent state then it absolutely is illegal
If you feel there's so much wrong doings in your Club and your GM hasn't done anything about it...at least not to your knowledge. Then you should've followed the chain of command and reported it. Don't wait for them to fire you and then try to retaliate against them. This is a reflection of you not the Store.
Its completely illegal to record anybody without their knowledge.
You're so lost. Nothing you've taped is illegal. Maybe embarrassing or unethical, but not a criminal offense. At the most, they'll get coached. You will be fired and depending on the state you live in, subject to arrest or, at the very least subject to a lawsuit.
