There was a Texas saying back in the 80's. It went like this - In Texas, we like our cows fat, our women pretty and our nuclear powerplants in other states. Now it's just Ted Cruz spewing his TRUMP BS.

How about that wonderful isolated electrical grid that has a proven record. That's a good reason I think. There is some pretty good BBQ in the state.
Workers elsewhere don't have any Rights either. In the workers paradise of California Wells has been downsizing for some time and that trend will continue until there's very few people left. Most LOBs with "staff" employees don't even have a Cali city listed as an option for hiring. I guess we all have the right to get unemployment, but that's about the extent of our workers rights.
Business friendly state (ie workers have no rights) and cheap labor? No brainer to make TX cities hubs.
"I left there years ago and soo glad I did."
You're not the only one that's glad.
Going to irving John Carpenter bldg 3 times every week. This building has lot of employees. New office location is under construction targeting completion in 2025

Does anybody work at the John Carpenter building? As in...is anybody even going in?
I left there years ago and soo glad I did. The only benefit to me was no state taxes and breakfast tacos. Guess what? They still have them everywhere else, they just turn them into burritos. Easier to hold. I’d be smart to move all our CA back office jobs to TX for the lower taxes and employee wages.
I love that you have that opinion. Tell all your friends so that no one moves here.
Irving is part of the Dallas metropolitan-area. Add to it the fact that WF is building a big-a$$ed data center out in Las Colinas (part of Irving)...so yes, it's part of the Dallas Hub.
Apparently c-suite decided it would be a great expense save to move jobs there due to lower wages and costs.
Personally, I see that location as the cr---h of WF.
@tjq+1o6HD3FE. Irving to replace tech to the west? That’s insane.
It somehow became one. I suspect it might be related to the new data centers.
Is this where the St Louis WFA headquarters is moving to? Assuming Charlie doesn’t just spin off WFA altogether?
It's only appropriate for a shitshow bank to belong to a shithole state.
Irving, TX will replace all tech to the West to improve efficiencies and reduce time zones. India is east of Irving. 5 year plan.
Irving is located in the 5th rung of He-l (I’m sitting in the office right now with nothing to do).. so obviously it’s a Hub.🤷🏻
Yes!!
Irving TX the new location where all mgrs have offsite to discuss the displacements.
Dallas is a core market. Irving is part of the Dallas CBSA
hubs are group specific. ask your manager.
