I was a long term, happy employee until Frank’s horrible micromanagement had negative impact on me and my team members. Up until that point, I was not looking and not thinking about leaving. I started my search.
It took time. It was scary. But I landed 3 offers and moved on. After being out for 3 months, I want to share this.
- The idea that you can not be productive in a remote environment is foolish and no one else believes that.
- Culture is important. Fiserv’s culture was destroyed at the hands of Frank’s policies and there are companies that value, protect and nurture theirs.
- Get ready for a nice pay increase and a nice comp that is consistent and not at risk of being ‘tweaked’ each year. I hear that Fiserv has not set their cash/RSU mix for bonuses. Why is that? People count on that as a part of their overall comp package and messing with that is just wrong.
You deserve better. Better is out there. Go find it.
