Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Bonus is toast for this year

They should come out now and announce bonus will be zero...let those who were thinking of leaving go. Going to be an exodus

Anyone who thinks bonus will be more than 50% is delusional. Honestly, it could be zero given we are so far off on eps.

MIP won’t be 0 but it will be less. Quarterly came out and it was significantly lower than usual if that helps

I have been with the company for over 15 years and we have received a bonus every year. I am with CVS so not sure of Aetna but some years were better than others. Some years it was 160-200%. Realistically, the bonus will be 70-80%. It won’t be zero.

All layoffs should be director and above.

Bonus? Bonus? I wouldn't be surprised if Merrits were held to almost 0 as well. They've done that before (I think it was 8 to 10 years ago).

This isn't going to be a good year to be hero, so, don't ki-l yourself out there!

I agree announce now as for many years people rely on bonus as part of total compensation and if they suddenly take it away after many years or existence, it’s a paycut in my opinion.

These events are going to be the last straw for a lot of employees. Everyone is in shock at how fast this place has deteriorated including morale. Nobody I work with is going above and beyond because they know it won't matter.

@sul+1tTTl5IM I was recently promoted with a sh---y raise. Prior to promotion I was maybe 5% below market, which was tolerable.

Why did you take a job that is supposedly 20-25% below market and now complain about it? Honest question.

My compensation is conservatively 20-25% below market and 35-40% below some of the "reach" interviews I've been getting. This company does a terrible job of rewarding talent below the level of director.
