Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

The lion, the witch and the audacity of leadership.

Not sure if anyone remembers the posts that were on here about a random survey for benefits but I think my leadership just went above and beyond when it comes to being sc-m bags. During our weekly team meeting he sent a link about benefits and then asked us to talk about our favorite things about Verizon benefits and said he was doing this as a part of his pulse planning.

I mean really? Cmon in this economic environment anyone with half a brain can figure out what is happening and why that is being asked. Just be straight with us and say Verizon is evaluating benefits. Either upper management is beyond stupid or they think we are. I just hope he was forced do it like this by upper management, if it was his idea then my direct manager is a mo--n.

@stg+1jUlLpNx government bailout? what are you 18? LOL

ops wait that all we have now in our stores....

The government cares less about cellphone companies, guess what? We have Comcast who could be ready to buy it or anyone else.

Verizon is not the only company that offers good benefits, that's the poor mentality a lot of old reps have. Brainwashed that only Verizon will do good for you LOL

Black Friday 2019 I did more volume of sales as a single person on individual commission in one day than most stores did as a team this year. It's wild that anyone thinks this is ok.

The benefits are the ONLY reason I'm still with Verizon. They start cutting those. I know I'm out. I won't be the only one. I can find a job making as much if not more...much more, but the benefits are whats keeping me. People think verizon is too big to fail, but there not thinking what that means. It's bad for the employees, share holders and the entire country. I see a government bail out coming in the next few years...With many strings attached. If hans and Co stay in charge.

The anonymous survey with our employee ID is the password. Right? Who are they trying to fool?

This is a common technique to brainwash people into compliance.

Check out the book "Influence" by Robert Cialdini.

The regime is constantly at it.
