Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Tired of having my job threatened

Stop threating to write us up based on "contribution report". I will sue the s–tout of Verizon for retaliation.... Bring it.
I will not slam VZP and devert loyal customers to the app because "we don't want it to effect our numbers"

You should unionize. But that has nothing no to do with how leadership speaks about us all and thinks of us as members of the same company. The front line is continually disrespected. Period

Once again buddy. If all I do is cost them one hour of legal. I have won.

That last poster instantly jumping to this is someone from the leadership team has to be from the CWA, you gonna tell us to unionize next?

Most likely the person calling the original post a retail clerk is a line worker or installer. Those folks have been saying Verizon retail is useless and we’re all McDonald’s employees for fu—g years on this site, just scroll through old posts here and the Verizon communications forum.

So the last comment calling the orig poster bad words and stating he should work at McDonald’s, anyone in retail going through this would ever say that. That has to be someone higher up. And what does that tell you? How messed up is it that that’s what they think of us all and how they talk about us? It costs NOTHING to be a good person and it’s nauseating to see these dispicable people behaving like they’ve never gone to church a day in their lives. What a company. What a sickening leadership team.

Your du—s 20$ an hour lawyer you found on the back of the bus ain’t gonna have s–t compared to Verizon’s giant legal team,

You’re a bum a-s retail clerk working an overpaid job being forced to actually do your job. Get a job at McDonald’s if you don’t want to have to upsell. It’s about all you’ve got skill for.

@skh You are 100% correct. My neighbor is a paralegal in a law firm. People always threaten to sue thinking they can threaten a company. Good luck.

100% retaliation. You are engaged in a legally protected action. Not de-frauding customers is definitely covered

Yes but me filing a single document will cost them 10X in internal legal hours

Not a fan either, but want to make sure you understand in case some overzealous wannabe who thinks they know the law is giving you bad advice. Holding you accountable to hitting certain target and metrics is not retaliation, it is accountability. There is nothing on that report that says you have to sell a VZHome. It says your contribution to the total sales with regard to protection products (in comparison to the average throughout the company and your location), the same is true for accessory revenue, pull through and phone sales.

Retaliation is one thing, but what you are talking about, take it from me, an actual workplace and employment practices attorney, that you have no case, and you will end up paying someone like me $175 an hour to waste your time and money to bill you for the paperwork we already know won’t do any good. That’s free legal advice for you.

So what's your point? Doesn't change anything. You are retaliating against me for not slamming. Verizon will lose in court but they don't care because everyone will be gone.

It directly says on the contrib report that it's–tto be used for coaching. Also VZPHome is not on your PA
