You'll make a name for yourself. Actually they lied, they'll take your name away and replace it with a bunch of letters and numbers. Not to worry though as I just write both my nameless username and password down on a sticky note and attach to my laptop wrist support so I don't forget.

What good is guessing a username if you don't have the password? By having a user name that no one can possibly remember, you are CREATING a risk because chances are, people will have to write down that username some where and chances are, if they are writing that username down, they probably have their password written down as well.
Who are we so scared of having access to our usernames anyways? We have to badge in and out of the building. When we do happen to work from home, we have to log into the VPN, with guess what, a username that IS OUR FISERV EMAIL address. Plus, in order to even access the FEAD log in, you have to key in some other bitlocker password.
Go lick boots somewhere else.
Usernames are obfuscated like that for a reason. First, its to avoid situations where you have a "jsmith", "jsmith2", "jsmith3", etc. etc. Secondly, and more importantly, it is a security measure. It's harder to guess a person's username when it has no correlation to their given name.
