got news today. nothing set in stone. they are outsourcing a department as they did with Day1.
they packaged it beautifully as "expanding partnership" with Infosys.
apparently other departments will be looked at as well.

Ask long time hBBT commercial teammates about using offshore resources to spread financials 10+ years ago.... the thought was to send the financials to be spread, go home while off shore spread overnight, then have a completed CFA when you came back in the morning.... the quality was terrible, many questions asked, details missed, etc. I don't remember how long it lasted, but it wasn't long after that a centralized on shore team was assembled.
History is repeating itself. What makes it worse is leadership has insulated themselves with a bunch of yes men and anyone who dares speak up with effective challenge is quickly silenced.
Have dealt with Infosys for years here and they are the worst of the worst. Anyone with skill moves on quickly. Any FTE that knows how to do the work can get it done in a 10th of the time but we are forced to send them work which isn’t right and we have to fix. If you try to do the work yourself you are hounded on why you aren’t sending them work. Buckle up buttercup!
i dont think the offshore team will be able to handle and understand a lot of the work they are moving from day2.
truist will have egg on their face and will be crawling back to the people they drop kicked with knowledge of the processes.
meh. they get what they deserve and this is nothing more than a self inflicted wound.
Some departments are really struggling with the offshore model. The time differential is causing issues and lack of efficiency. My area is worried about missing SLAs, some regulatory. We send work to offshore team, we go home, they come online, don't understand the ask/have questions, they send it back to us, we come online, but they are now offline, so we've wasted a whole day.
Truist employs so many losers this is going to keep happening for a while until we get the numbers down
will this be affecting ct&o again?
Just remember that one of Infosys's subsidiaries is the company that was responsible for the big BOA breach last November. They are likely giving financial customers a discount trying to rebuild street cred in the financial sector. They su-k but are exactly the type of company the Mr. Bill show likes to do business with. I am still waiting to hear whatever became of the Guild structure..... and the beat goes on........
Why do you guys/gals stay???
I just don't get it. Why work for a company that makes it clear EVERY DAY that they hate you and want you gone? This kind of thing has been going on for literally YEARS . . . yet you stay. It makes no sense. You must be insane.
what is IP? item processing?

You can't possibly be surprised by this.
