GM to unemployed

Worked for FHEG for over 20 years. Out of the blue, it was bought out by Jackson River. Left the company on my own terms shortly after. Not even a year later, what I thought would happen happened.
Sorry to all affected and to those who inevitably will be. For those moving on,
there are bigger and better things out here, believe me. Know that you were appreciated by many while in your campus role. Chin up, put one foot in front of the other…better days are just ahead.

Store Manager II, now Campus Store Leader, for 20K less. No way.

ASM, now unemployed

ASM now.. still an ASM. But I don't deserve to be. A lot of good people got canned. Meanwhile I barely know what I'm doing and they kept me? Doesn't make any sense. Our CMM basically ran the store and they canned her. I honestly want to quit just because of how many good people got let go.

Sorry. Probably based on pay. You were at the bottom of the compensation scale, YOU are good to go! Keep up the good work, we're all counting on you!

Regional Manager. District Manager but not with this lame duck company for 2 years now. So much better off.

What am I now? Free to find an appropriate career. One that isn’t exploitive.

I am truly sorry for all who lost their jobs or were negatively impacted. I am still waiting to hear my fate as an Area Director of a larger account. I heard the Stanford AD was let go so I’m concerned.

SM … no clue now because I haven’t received an email. Just told my title will change.

@rks+1lLUP337 I think they meant store manager not state manager. In other words they went from SM III to whatever the new title is, Campus Leader or something… and got a $17k pay cut.

This will probably happen to a lot of people since there are no more levels. Everyone is a “I” which is out of this world.

Store manager 3 that got the 17k cut..... You are what now???? What's a "state" manager?? I thought the multi unit is now called Market leader? Also, when did you get your new job title email?

Store manager 3 multi unit cut $17K and demoted to state manager still hourly with 6 locations. I love my job. This is horrible.
