I see so many people unhappy with their jobs and I couldn't be more surprised. I personally love my job, including everybody I work with. I've never heard any of them say they hate their jobs and we are all close enough that we would tell something like that to each other. Is that really so rare at Truist these days?

Thanks for stopping by Kelly! We know how happy you are, and congratulations on a fantastic bonus! A decade in the top spot, tens of millions in compensation, and no real progress on anything. But hey, you got to feed your ego by throwing talented and loyal employees under the bus for your decade of nonexistent creativity and leadership.
The grand irony is we had to listen to your sermons on life for so many years, and yet you never grasped the meaning of life’s most important one - in the end, leave the world a better place than you found it. You have unnecessarily ruined many lives - enjoy your fortune!
Nice try. Clearly a troll or, worse yet, one of Dante’s engagement and happiness team.....whatever that means.
Guess it is easier than saying quota hire? But Kelly sure is sorry about riots and the civil war.
He don’t care about the employees so much....
Yay! Truist. Plant a seed and hope.
Assuming you are an actual employee, and not just trying to stir the pot (likely), you should feel very lucky, because you are one of the first employees I have heard that is happy at Truist. My suspicion of your post stems from my observation that those that are not 100% miserable personally, are disturbed by the amazingly poor treatment of their coworkers.
Of course it makes a difference. STI people managers in particular have the smartest kid in the room syndrome. They are masters at making every problem someone else’s fault. You don’t even want to spend any time around the arrogant arses in the CIB world. They are insufferable and actually believe they can do whatever they want!
@qud I don't know if it makes any difference, but yes, we are mostly from the BB&T side.
I would ask if your team is comprised of mainly heritage BB&T folks? I find the cancer is coming from the SunTrust side and trying to mix the polar-opposite cultures. The SunTrust teammates I worked with (in management at least) are extremely aggressive. I have to check my back daily for knives. :)
I think you had too much cool-aid:)
Ha ha ha, you're a riot. Good for you, I'm so happy for you, True blue to the end!
Uhhhhh, yes!
