Yep. Today. For real. After checking this site for a year, I started to think they may keep us. We were told last March we’d be displaced.
Anyhoot, we out.
Make the same prediction for long enough you may eventually get it right.
For the first time ever, RIP guy is 'right', in the sense that notices are coming this week–for some.
Such a worthless post
@qoz is right not just about marketing but also ICS. Our workload is lower than it was. As they keep tearing out parts of the bank or supported applications, unsurprisingly, there is less to secure. I actually like working here and I like the people I work with, I even like the fact that we are finally dragging infrastructure kicking and screaming into this decade. But I talked myself into applying outside the bank for what would be a big step up. Part of me hates to do it now that we finally started fixing stuff I wanted to fix years ago, but maybe I can save someone else’s job.
More steaming pile of equine excrement.
10-15% wouldn’t even cover all the contractors in marketing.
To the people in Marketing that think they're safe - get a clue! Yes you're really busy supporting various campaigns and short-staffed, but what makes you think all those campaigns will continue to exist? The fact is no one should be feeling safe and that's what the bank wants. They want people to quit and leave with no severance.
I'm curious to see how this impacts Marketing as a whole. My guess is at least 10%-15% RIF to start
~2000 of us out
Not mine. I’m in marketing.
Hopefully DMI. What a joke.
