HCL has confirmed they will begin monthly layoffs, with the first off-payroll date of Nov 1, continuing until the acquired employee base reaches a total of just 600 former Verizon employees.

I’m ex-VZ, 36 years service, was rebadged to HCL on 11/1/23 and my last day is 11/1/24. Laid off with VZ severance package (standard - no VSP). My whole team of service managers got sacked.
Surprise? Nope, but there are some people who still refuse to believe even credible murmurings through the grapevine.
I personally know people with “last days” in November, December, and January already.
