Who will first tomorrow to:

When you find out, please inform us of the severance package, in general terms (e.g. salary for x length of time, not actual $). Whatever else might be covered in the package. I'm sure it will be the similar for most of us rank-and-file.

@lwk+1pPzfYjV Can you share briefly what the letter states? I am wondering if they are forcing you to sign as part of an NDA before you can get your severance. Is that legal?

@pwe+1pPzfYjV, here’s the separation letter.

This email is to follow up on today’s meeting, during which you were notified of the business decision to eliminate your position. As communicated to you earlier, TransUnion is committed to helping you transition through these difficult circumstances. To provide support during this transition, TU is offering you a severance package intended.

Your package will include:

One week of pay for every year of service completed with TU as of your separation date,
An additional number of weeks of pay based on your years of service and Global Job Structure level,
A payment equal to COBRA coverage for your medical and/or dental elections as of your Separation Date, based on years of service, and
Career counseling/outplacement services through Challenger, Gray and Christmas, Inc.

TU will make bonus payments to eligible associates during the first quarter of 2024. All payments will be made in a lump sum.

If you choose to accept the severance package, you must return a signed copy of the General Release no later than the date provided in the Position Elimination Letter. You are encouraged to review it with an attorney before signing the document.

We encourage you to carefully read and review all the information.

As an additional reminder, associates are responsible for complying with TU policies, including the Information Security Policy, which prohibits associates from sending confidential or proprietary information to their personal emails and allows TU to monitor their technology use.

If you have personal belongings in the office, TransUnion will pack and ship them to you. You will also receive a shipping box to return company property.

I can already tell you from when they told me in October. 1 week of pay per year with company, another week of pay per year with company, 3 months of money at the rate it would cost for Cobra for those 3 months, and outplacement services from Challenger, Gray, and Christmas. I was notified October 3rd, last day is December 15th.
