Also, is it so bad to remain positive? We survived the week. That could be emotionally as well as not being laid off. It's been an incredibly stressful week for me as well as many others. Laughing and saying we survived nothing doesn't help morale whatsoever. If you'd rather stay negative, please leave the thread.
The layoffs have not started. can anyone name one person/group who has formally been told they are laid off this week?
If I had to guess they will be slashing the corporate entities from the two recently acquired companies. And the low performers in high pay ranges in other segments.
Layoffs always follow new acquisitions . Two acquisitions below this year billions of dollars .

@pux+1nWAX2g4 have you not been keeping up? Yes they have started. And celebrating small victories is what I said in the original post. One week = small victory. September 10th is a large victory. This is just a reminder to remain positive, but if you’d rather be snarky and bitter then have fun.
Except layoffs don't start for a full other week, so we've survived nothing at all. If you're still here Sept 10, you will have survived
